June Shoot

The June shoot was a hot one, could a swore we were in Georgia instead of upstate NY. Now as I write this it’s raining and 62 degrees. Yep, we’re in upstate NY all right. Enough about the weather, lets get on with the results. Fastest gun overall was Bristol Bisley, top duelist was Rev Dave Clayton. The Missouri ranger’s top gun was Big Johnny Bronson. Bristol Bisley, Twelve Bore and Jerimiah Holliday all shot the match clean (no misses or penalties). You can check the alias list on this website to see who these hombres are.

I would like to thank everyone who came out to shoot on such a hot day, especially the people who helped set up on Friday, also John, Roger and Steave for staying to help tear down on Saturday.

We got to try our new jailhouse at this match. Roger Graham built the jail and is working on building a bank and a saloon. We have no budget for this year, a great amount of time and effort is being provided by a very few people to get CAS started at GCL. The best way to show our appreciation is to get people to come out and shoot. A dozen shooters is not a bad start but I would like to see three times that by the end of this season.

Next shoot is July 2nd, we will have three scenarios for the main match and maybe a couple more if enough people want to stay in the afternoon. We will also run a derringer side match if  there is enough interest.
